Peas are a great base for a creamy low fat dip with added goodness and creaminess from the nutritional powerhouse of the avocado.
Serves 4 Preparation 10 minutes
Ingredients
125g (4oz) garden peas (tinned drained and rinsed or defrosted frozen)
1 ripe avocado
1 clove garlic, diced
2 spring onions, chopped
2 tbsp. chopped parsley
½ tsp. ground cumin
1 tsp. tamari
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. olive oil
Method
- Place all the ingredients in a food processor apart from olive oil and blitz until smooth.
- Add olive oil and blend for 5 seconds.
- Serve with oat cakes, tortilla chips or crudités.
